Knot Alone Maker’s Circle

The Knot Alone Makers Circle will be a community crafting and cultural sharing group hosted by the Adawe Tribal Cultural Center, and will bring tribal members together twice each month for creativity, learning, and fellowship.

The group will meet one Friday evening and one Saturday morning each month in a welcoming space where participants can work alongside one another, share knowledge, and support each other’s projects and skills.

Participants are encouraged to bring any cultural arts projects they are currently working on, whether it is beadwork, regalia, moccasins, dance shawls, quilting, repairs, etc.

Those wanting to learn a new skill or begin a new project are also welcome, and group members are encouraged to help teach, guide, and encourage one another in a spirit of community and shared learning.

The Adawe Cultural Center will provide the meeting space along with a limited number of sewing machines, scissors, and basic shared tools.

Participants are responsible for bringing their own project materials and supplies, such as beads, fabric, thread, buckskin, ribbon, patterns, and any other specialty items needed for their work.
